Prior to accepting any plastic surgeon into our Directory or as a Sponsor Surgeon of a particular City Directory, the administrator of BoardCertifiedPlasticSurgeon.com reviews the public record of the applicant-surgeon by contacting the relevant State Medical Board. By relevant we mean the state where the physician is currently practicing medicine. If a surgeon has practiced medicine in another state, the record may be unknown to the administrator.
