After meeting with her patient and discussing his or her aesthetic goals a second (preoperative) meeting is scheduled before the actual surgery. During this appointment the details about the actual surgery are clarified and any additional concerns or questions the patient may have are addressed. Dr. Powers' wants to be certain that each patient understands all facets of the permanent surgical self-investment.
Dr. Powers performs the surgery in the safest manner possible in a state-of-the-art, certified surgery center in or near Long Beach. After surgery, the patient's progress is followed closely with office visits and phone calls until she or he is well-healed and satisfied with their results.

Yvette Marie is Dr. Powers' surgery patient coordinator and consultant. She has been with Dr. Powers' for several years and can also assist you with perioperative as well as administrative concerns.
Tiffany has been a member of the clinical/administrative services team for four years. She can schedule your surgery as well as answer your clinical questions.
Elena is our registered nurse who will assist with your perioperative care and concerns. She will follow up any of your medical issues and assist on postsurgical wound care. In addition, Elena has extensive experience in laser skin resurfacing and is one of our laser nurses.
